What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is the largest form of alternative health care in the nation and focuses on the spine and nervous system. All the nerves that control your body pass through the spine, except for the cranial nerves.

The purpose of chiropractic is to maintain the lines of communication (the nervous system) between Innate Intelligence and the body's organs and tissues.

Daily stressors such as sports, auto injuries, stress, trauma and lifestyles play a substantial role in determining the outcome of your health. These factors may create a malfunction in the spine, weaken a muscle or impair the function of an organ.

Chiropractic's aim is to ensure that the nerve system is functioning without interference. When nerve interference exists, Innate Intelligence cannot regulate the body's functions any more than the power company can make your lights go on if a fuse has blown in your breaker box.

If this happens in your home, you do not blame the power company or the light bulb for not working. Yet, if one of your organs stops working properly, you would blame that organ and try to "cure" it. The problem, is in the "wiring system, not in the organ...and certainly not at the source of power, for this Innate Intelligence is always working 100% to keep the body as close to normal as possible.

The goal of chiropractic is to remove the interference and to allow Innate Intelligence to do its intended job...Maintain the human body in a state of perfect, always-balanced, HEALTH. To properly correct the problem your chiropractic treatment consists of a chiropractic adjustment to realign the spine and restore spinal integrity.

Physiotherapy like ultrasound treatment and therapeutic massage may also be recommended to compliment and accelerate the healing process, which the chiropractic adjustments will initiate. An individually designed program of health care will be provided that fits your lifestyle.

By using the body's own regenerative powers, chiropractic takes people to a height of health they never thought possible.
